KOCO knits small bees by hand as corporate gifts. Each bee is made by a single named artisan, from first stitch to last, using the same written-pattern method, bamboo and timber needles, and zero-electricity production that we apply to our fashion-house work. No machines are used at any stage.
What makes the bee a CSR gift rather than a novelty is the provenance behind it. Every piece carries the name of the woman who knitted it, traceable to her village hub in rural Tamil Nadu. The gift arrives with a verifiable story of who made it and how, which is what a sustainability or compliance lead can stand behind in a report.

KOCO was commissioned to knit a 12 square metre mural as a Sustainable Development Goal artwork. It is the largest single piece in the programme and a demonstration of what hand-knitting can do at architectural scale: a continuous, stitched surface made by named artisans, with no machines and no electricity in production.
The mural shows that the same method that produces a fine garment can produce a wall-scale artwork, stitch by stitch, to a written pattern. It is the reference point for any organisation considering a bespoke commission at scale.

Every commission is made by named women artisans in rural Tamil Nadu under a seven-month paid apprenticeship, in centralised village hubs, with zero electricity in production. KOCO is a Certified B Corporation aligned to nine UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the provenance of each piece is traceable to the artisan who made it.
There is no minimum order. Production scales from a single piece upwards, because every item is knitted by hand by one artisan with no machine setup to amortise.
Lead time depends on the scale and stitch complexity of the piece. A gift set of bees is shorter than a mural. We give a realistic lead time against your brief at quote stage, built from stitch count and artisan hours rather than machine time.
